No image for this episode. I couldn’t find one to fit and I was wasting far too much time attempting to do so. This episode covers my junior year at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts and my involvement in a production of Thorton Wilder’s “The Skin of our Teeth.” It represents a major turning point in my acting career and the moment I really started to take this thing seriously.
Show notes, such as they are, are behind the cut.
*Content Warning* – I use a derogatory racial term in relating an experience that happened during this period in my life. I am quoting someone else in doing so, but the term is there regardless. If you find that kind of thing overly offensive you may wish to pass this episode up.
- The opening track is “Love Shack” by the B-52′s from their album Cosmic Thing.
- I shaved nearly 2 minutes off of this podcast by cutting out all the “umms”, “uuuhs”, “you knows” and pointless stammers. You’re welcome.
- If you’re curious about the construction that I did you can see all the progress pictures here.
- I don’t wear tighty whities any more. Just FYI.
- Here’s a little more info about Terrence Mann. Apparently he hasn’t updated his own web site since 2003.
- The closing song is “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers from their album Full Moon Fever.
